The CodeComply Summit WICED Course Selection Committee has Almarosa Vargas Fawal as a new member. Almarosa Vargas, the present President of WICED California, has become an integral part of the CodeComply Summit's WICED Course Selection Committee. With Almarosa's help, our summit will be able to boast a more diverse, innovative, and experienced WICED track, which should improve the overall quality of the event and to promote women in our industry.
Almarosa has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and perseverance throughout her 17-year career in public service and code enforcement. Her journey began as an administrative analyst, but she is now the first Latina and woman to lead the Stockton Code Enforcement Division. Her path, which exemplifies the strength of resolve, highlights the significance of diversity in leadership positions in our industry.
Almarosa has also accomplished a great deal in her academic career. She has a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration, and she is now doing her Ph.D. in public administration. Her innovative approach to the problems facing our industry is on full display in her doctoral dissertation, which focused on using AI for code enforcement.
Almarosa will have significant influence on the WICED track's content as both the WICED CA President and a member of the Course Selection Committee. CodeComply Summit's courses will tackle the most important concerns that women in code enforcement face today and tomorrow with her insights, while also exploring innovative solutions.
The WICED track will focus on:
Helping with the CodeComply Summit isn't only a professional move for Almarosa; it's also a way for her to keep being a positive role model and champion for her community. She is here to inspire us to look beyond the box regarding code enforcement's future by bringing a new viewpoint to our talks. We encourage all attendees, but especially those interested in the WICED program, to do so.
The CodeComply Summit is pleased to have Almarosa as part of it's event. Our goal is to break new ground in code enforcement, honor the contributions of all professionals, and motivate the youth of today to take charge.
