As our first volunteer committee member, Rachel brings her wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to education and innovation in building safety and code enforcement.

Rachel's impressive background includes:

- Over 14 years of code enforcement experience in both private and public sectors

- Current roles as President of WICED of Colorado and Chapter Secretary for the Colorado Chapter of International Code Council

- Featured as the International Code Council's Monthly Member Spotlight

Rachel's passion for education and developing new programs aligns perfectly with our mission at CodeComply Summit. Her innovative approach to code enforcement education is evident in her many initiatives:

1. Webinars on various code enforcement topics

2. Co-creator of "Fiona the Fox," an animated series educating children about public safety professions and community concerns

3. Plans to expand school career days to encourage younger generations to enter the building industry

4. Co-host of "Code Concepts with Rachel Patterson and Pete Roque," interviewing industry professionals on relevant topics
